Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifier: Nigeria hold Ghana to a goalless draw in Kumasi

The Black Stars gave a good account of themselves in the first half with four corners to Super Eagles’ one and a 67% to 33% possession. The Super Eagles came alive in the second half and took the game to the opponents, but couldn’t find the back of the net. Both teams will meet again on March 29 at the MKO Stadium in Abuja in the decisive match that would determine who bags the ticket to Qatar. In other qualifying matches, Morocco came from behind to tie Congo DR 1-1 in Congo. Egypt had its revenge against Senegal who won its first African Cup at its expense with a 1-0 win at home. Algeria upended Cameroon 1-0 while Mali lost to Tunisia 1-0 in Tunisia.
