Headlines, Soccer, Sports Saturday, March 27th, 2021(NNP) A last minute goal by Paul Onuachu against the Squirrels of neighbouring Benin Republic gave the Super Eagles the points it needed to qualify for the upcoming 2021 AFCON championship. The match played at the Charles de Gaulle stadium in Porto Nova, saw the Eagles struggling against the lowly rated Squirrels. The Eagles only needed a draw to qualify. The goal was scored in extra time, the 93rd minute of the encounter that saw a dispirited performance from the three-time African championship. Nigeria now will host the Crocodiles of Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos. In the other group encounter, Sierra Leone played a goalless draw with Lesotho in Maseru.
