Ambassador Olusola for burial July 20 •As more Nigerians mourn his exit
Headlines Monday, June 25th, 2012FRIENDS, associates, captain of industries, art connoisseurs, organisations and others are still trooping in to condole with the families of the Nigeria former Ambassador to Ethiopia, Chief Segun Olusola.
Olusola died on June 21 at the age of 77 in Lagos.
Mr Olujimi Olusola, first son of the late Ambassador Olusola, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that his father would be buried on July 20.
He told NAN after receiving the Lagos State governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola, that the family would be heading to Iperu-Remo, Ogun State, on June 25 to finalise the burial arrangements.
Earlier, Fashola had said the late Ambassador Olusola would be missed by all in the arts sector, broadcasting industry and all other fields he ventured into.
The former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, said the deceased was a true mobiliser of refugees, both internally and externally in Africa.
Other notable visitors at the residence included the founder of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Dr Fredrick Fasehun; the former President, Society of Nigeria Arts (SNA), Mr Olu Ajayi and a former minister of information and culture, Prince Tony Momoh.
