(NNP) The Commissioner for Youth in Edo State had unexpected “visitors” who invaded his home in his absence. The assailants unable to find their target, shot into the air, injured his family members and destroyed properties.

The most troubling aspect of their visit was the note that was left for the Hon. Damian Lawani in Udaba Ekphei Community in Etsako Local Government area, posted on his gate stating that he was lucky they did not find him at home and promising to return to inflict more pain.

The deadly note posted below read, “Damian Lawani, you are lucky we did not meet you at home, but we promise that we are coming back for you. If you like tighten security.” The governor’s special assistant on Media and Communication, Crusoe Osagie, stated that the assailants must have been hired to harm the commissioner. However, he did not state why the Hon. Lawani has been targeted.
