Baga Killings ‘ll not Obstruct Dialogue with Boko Haram, Says Lugga (Will that be the same dialogue they turned down?)
Boko Haram, Headlines Wednesday, April 24th, 2013A member of the Presidential Amnesty Committee on Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution of Security Challenges in the North, Dr. Sani Abubakar Lugga (Wazirin Katsina), Wednesday expressed confidence that the recent killings in Baga in Borno state will not obstruct dialogue with the Boko Haram sect.
Lugga spoke on the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) monitored in Sokoto Wednesday, against the backdrop that the recent killings in Baga town might be a setback in Federal Government’s efforts to end the insurgency in the North.
Lugga noted that the Baga attack occurred before the commencement of dialogue with the Boko Haram sect and as such there was no cause for alarm.
