Breaking News: Court asks NDLEA to pay Baba Suwe N25m compensation
Headlines Thursday, November 24th, 2011Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court, Thursday, has asked the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to pay Nigerian comedy actor, Babatunde Omidina, commonly called Baba Suwe, N25 million as compensation for unlawful detention and breach of right.
Baba Suwe who was granted bail November 4, had gone to court to seek redress over an alleged suspicion of ingesting substances believed to be hard drug and detention in the custody of NDLEA for 24 days.
Justice Yetunde Idowu also asked the NDLEA publicly apologies through two national dailies within 21 days for unlawful detention and breach of right of the comedian, Baba Suwe.wp_posts
