The middle-aged female passenger who was billed to travel to Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an Etihad Airline flight was yesterday found dead inside one the toilets at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.
Details of the cause of death were sketchy as at press time just as the identity of the passenger was not disclosed. It was however learnt that the woman was on her way to the UAE to seek for medical attention.
Spokesman for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr. Yakubu Dati who confirmed the incidence to Daily Sun said the corpse of the woman was spotted around 6.30am by some airport workers.
“The corpse has been deposited at the morgue of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital,” Dati said. “For now, we cannot say exactly what happened to her,” he added.
