FG appoints Dakuku Peterside as DG NIMASA

The Federal Government has appointed Dakuku Peterside as the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency.
The appointment takes effect from today, March 10, a statement said.
Peterside was the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the April 11 governorship election in Rivers State and a close ally of the Minister of Transport, Chief Rotimi Amaechi.
He holds doctorate Degree in Management Science from the University of Port Harcourt, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
