FG clueless about insecurity, power, others —FASHOLA (Old news)
Headlines, Lagos, State News Friday, January 9th, 2015Lagos—Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State yesterday said the Federal Government was clueless about the challenges confronting the country.
Fashola made the statement at the commissioning of the Cooperative Home Ownership Incentive Scheme, CHOIS City at Agbowa, Ikosi in Ejirin Local Council Development Area, LCDA, and the first Solar-powered Primary Health Care, PHC, centre, Epe.
He lamented that all Abuja used to say about the country especially on insecurity and the economy were untrue.
According to him; “First they were ignorant and later they lied to Nigerians. This shows that they don’t know what to do about the challenges confronting this country especially insecurity.
The governor noted that to further complicate the matter, the Vice President, Namadi Sambo made wrong and ignorant statement about Lagos, insinuating that people were leaving Lagos due to the high tax regime.
He added; “I don’t think he (Sambo) moved around the state to see how the population of Lagos was increasing daily. Also, they said that we were selling property to residents of Lagos at over N100 million. They are ignorant and they have shown it publicly.”
