Former minister of health, Alhassan is dead

The former Minister of Health, Dr. Haliru Alhassan has died at the age of 66. Alhassan died on Sunday around 12 noon after a brief illness.

Alhassan, who was a childhood friend of Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, was said to be diabetic before his death. He is survived by one wife and four children.A family source said he will be buried at the Hubbaran Shehu burial ground.
