Ghana Black Stars sneak into 2022 World Cup after 1-1 tie with Super Eagles in Abuja

(NNP) The Black Stars of Ghana sneaked into the 2022 Qatar World Cup after holding Nigeria to a 1-1 tie in Abuja in the second leg. The first leg ended in goalless tie in Kumasi on March 25. The Black Stars bagged the ticket on away goal advantage having scored the first goal early in the first half with a volley outside the box that beat Cyprus-based keeper Francis Uzoho.
