Ghanaian private varsities rue activities of education agents in Nigeria

IN recent times, education agents have destroyed working relationship between educational institutions in Ghana and Nigeria by fraudulently making shoddy arrangements for Nigerian students who want to study in Ghana.

This are the conclusions of institutions in Ghana, a situation which is now reason the institutions have decided to embark on Nigerian tour to woo would-be students in Nigeria.

Two of the institutions, which are currently having their representatives in Nigeria; Dr Stanley Moffatt and Frank Adjei- Ntekor, both of Regent University College of Scince and Technology and Knutsford University College, said their mission was to break the cartel of admission officers who had made life miserable for prospective students.

Both officers, who are in Nigeria for an education tour packaged by Youthpath organisation, in collaboration with Blue Cottage Global Services, said they were on a rescue mission to Nigeria and as well showcase the beauty of Ghanaian private university education to young Nigerian students.

Dr Moffat, in his view said “What makes Regent University College of Science and Technology embark on this tour is the performances of the current crop of Nigerian students at the institution. I’ve heard a lot of things about Nigerian students, but in my school, they do well and they’ve proved to be exceptionally brilliant students.”wp_posts
