Gunman shoots priest in Lyon, France
Africa & World Politics, Headlines, NNP News Sunday, November 1st, 2020(NNP) A Greek Orthodox priest was shot by a gun man who fled the scene in Lyon, France. The 52 year-old priest, who was closing his church was shot with a sawed-off shot gun, according to French police. The priest, shot in the stomach, sustained life threatening injuries. Police arriced shortly after the asailant fled the scene to find the priest in the back door of the church. He was rushed to the hospital. This shooting came only days after a knife-wielding man entered a church in Nice and murdered three people. The man was shot and arrested by police. Police have not determined a motive for the priest shooting.
