By Deji Elumoye

The President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan, is currently meeting with the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) over the lingering strike embarked upon by the union over the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

ASUU President, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, is leading the union’s delegation to the meeting holding at Senate committee room 301, to fashion out a way out of the refusal of the university lecturers to be enrolled under the IPPIS pay system of the federal government.
