Miss Bikini Nigeria International returns with new promises

The second edition of the Miss Bikini Nigeria International (MBNI) pageant is set to hold on the 14th of August, 2016 at the Bespoke Event Centre, Lekki. According to the organiser of the pageant, Nollywood actress, Seyi Hunter, the event will see winners going on to participate in various international pageants. CEO, MBI, Seyi Hunter with one of the queens “We have twenty beautiful contestants this year. The top five winners will be traveling abroad for different international competitions.
They’ll have two years international modeling contracts each. The international pageants include World Bikini Model International in Malta, Pearl of the Universe Pageant in Philippines scheduled to hold in November, Most Beautiful Model also in Philippines coming up in December and Miss Summer World in Albania.” The actress who got the franchise for the pageant from ‘World Bikini Model International’ in Malta, explained that the event is aimed at showcasing the beach culture of wearing bikinis the African way, hence the theme ‘Exploring the beauty of African prints’.
“The beauty of this pageant is that we are showcasing the African culture. We want to change the perception of people about bikinis. Bikinis can be worn tastefully without promoting obscenity. We want to explore how bikinis can be worn to suit our culture. Models will be wearing them the African way. We hope to change the bikini culture to suit our ‘Africanness’. The event will feature comedy, music and dance with Patoranking and G.T Da Guitarman headlining the event, while comedians MC Pato and Eboh Bomb are also going to be present to reel out rib-cracking jokes. The six man panel of judges include actresses Seyi Edun, Goddess Amah amongst others. KIA Motors and Spice Supreme are the major partners of the event.
