N2.7bn fraud: Sirika, daughter plead not guilty to charge
Corruption Politics, Headlines, Raw Politics Thursday, May 9th, 2024The former Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Hadi Abubakar Sirika, is presently being arraigned before Justice Sylvanus Orji of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja.
Sirika, who was docked alongside his in-law and daughter, Fatima, pled not guilty to all the charges preferred against them after it was read to them.
The defendants were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission after they were alleged to have committed fraud in the handling of N2.7bn contract.
The defendant’s counsel is currently moving a bail application.
