Nigeria/Ghana friendly: Only five Eagles in camp •Team shelves training

SUPER Eagles preparation for tomorrow’s international friendly against the Black Stars of Ghana suffered a set back following the failure of invited players to arrive at the team’s London camp as scheduled.
According to the plans, the team was expected to commence training for the encounter yesterday but as at the time of writing this report only five players including team captain, Joseph Yobo, Ikechukwu Uche his brother Kalu Uche, Daniel Shittu and Emmanuel Ekpowere on ground while other players were yet to arrive.
With this development, assistant coach of the Super Eagles, Simon Kalika said the training had to be skipped and will now hold today when most of the players are expected to have arrived.
Activities at the team’s Hilton Hotel, Watford was still dull due to the non arrival of the players, but Kalika has allayed fears that the development will not take its toll on the team.
