North Korea allegedly executed two as COVID-19 and economic woes angers supreme leader

(NNP) North Korea has reportedly executed two of its citizens on the orders of Kim Jong Un. This is according to South Korean lawmaker briefed by his country’s spy agency. One was said to have flaunted COVID-19 rules and the other was a foreign exchange trader who suffered the ultimate fate as a result of fluctuating currency. The former was executed for violating COVID-19 restrictions by importing goods from China without adhering to the COVID-19 protocol. The latter was  executed after North Korean currency, the won, plunged in value against the dollar.
