Police uncover sex slave house in Delta

By Monday Osayande, AsabaThe police In Delta State yesterday uncovered a place at Aragba in Otokutu in Ughelli South council where underage children are trafficked and used as sex slave. The Police spokesman DSP Bright Edafe who confirmed the sex house, said on April 15, 2022 at about 2330hrs, the Command received information that Fagoma Hotel located at Delta State is being used as a brothel where the five underage girls were rescued from the hands of those who trafficked them. He said when the command received this disturbing information, raided the brothel and rescued the underage girls which include Happiness Johnson ‘f’ age 13yrs, Esther Godspower ‘f’ age 21yrs, Angel John ‘f’ age 22yrs, Miracle Bishop ‘f’ age 19yrs and Happiness Isreal ‘f’ 19yrs. Edafe revealed that “one Joy ‘f’ surname unknown now at large trafficked the underage girls from Rivers State, took them to Patani where they were forced into taking an oath before they were brought to Otu-Jeremi and harbored by one Edwin Etareri the owner of the said brothel. According to the PPRO, Mrs Grace Etariri currently in custody and 20 Suspects- ten other male suspects and ten female prostitutes – were arrested during the raid. |
