Senate Presidency: Group backs Saraki
Legislature, Senate Tuesday, May 10th, 2011
The Coalition for Good Governance in Kwara State has canvassed support for the nomination of the senator-elect from Kwara Central, Dr. Bukola Saraki as the next President of the Senate.
The group in a statement on Monday said Bukola had performed creditably well as the governor of Kwara State. The group also added that Saraki gave exemplary leadership as the Chairman of the Governors Forum of Nigeria.
According to the group, Saraki is well experienced to pilot the activities of the Senate successfully given what it called his leadership acumen and skill as Kwara State Governor and chairman of the GFN.
