Siasia Writes Off Sierra Leone Coach
Headlines, Soccer, Sports Friday, February 11th, 2011THE Super Eagles Coach Samson Siasia has described the Sierra Leone national team coach as a comedian.
The Sierra Leone Coach Joseph Cole had after the international friendly between the two countries at the Teslim Balogun Stadium said his side was robbed of victory.
Super Eagles defeated Sierra Leone by 2-1.
Cole also said that should the match be played on a neutral ground, his side would have defeated the Super Eagles
Responding to this, Siasia described the coach as a comedian.
”How can he say that?. It was very clear the Super Eagles played better than his side”.
Siasia continued: ”Sierra Leone has never been a problem for Nigeria in any form and I wonder why he was saying that. Anyway, I see him as a comedian. He wanted to say something to make people laugh.We will defeat Sierra Leone anytime, anyday, anywhere”, Siasia said.
Also speaking in the same line,super Eagles captain,Joseph Yobo dismissed Cole’s statement when he said,”we defeated Sierra Leone both home and away when we met sometime ago and now I wonder why he thinks his side can defeat us, he is not getting it right at all, Sierra Leone will always fall to us no matter what,”he said.
