The Queen of England, husband ferried to safety as Coronavirus cases increase in the UK

By New Nigerian Politics – As the Coronavirus spreads and takes its toll on populations around the world, the British Monarchy has taken the rare but necessary step to relocate the Queen and her husband to Windsor Place where they are expected to stay away from the public. The Queen has cancelled trips within the country and limited her activities. The 93 year-old monarch and her husband being advance in age are more vulnerable to the rampaging virus and all measures are taken to protect the family. Royal sources indicated that if need be, the Queen and Prince Philip will be moved to Sandringham, the country home of the Queen for further isolation. The UK has 596 cases as of today, this number is up by 140 cases since Wednesday of last week. The United States which excluded the country in its sweeping ban of travels from 26 European countries, has now included it as the virus spreads globally seemingly unchecked.wp_posts
