Trumps calls Democratic VP nominee and first black woman to run for such office, a “monster” and a “Communist”
American Politics, Headlines, NNP News Thursday, October 8th, 2020(NNP) President Trump on Thursday, one day after the vice presidential candidates debated, called the Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate, the first black woman to run for such office, a “monster” and a “communist.” Senator Kamala Harris, whose father is black from Jamaica and mother from India, debated Mike Pence, current vice president in what many saw as a civil and tempered debate, a departure from the chaos that attended the presidential debate in Cleveland just a week ago. President Trump who has been infected by the corona virus and was hospitalized for three days, ranted the following words on a news interview, “This monster that was on stage with Mike Pence, who destroyed her last night by the way, but this monster, she says no no there won’t be fracking, everything she said is a lie.”
His comments have been widely condemned as racist and sexist, an accusation Mr. Trump is used to having been accused of being a racist. Mr. Trump, many would recall authored the Birther Movement that claimed that the first black president of the United States, Barack Obama, who was born in Hawaii was not born in the US. Upon her nomination as the vice presidential candidate, a similar campaign was attempted before it was quickly dismissed as fake news. Senator Harris was born in San Francisco in 1964. Many have dismissed Mr. Trump’s recent rant against Senator Kamala Harris as the ranting of a sick man. One commentator indicated that Mr. Trump, who was accused by his own niece, Dr. Mary Trump in her tell-all book, that Mr. Trump (her uncle) hired someone to take a college (University of Pennsylvania) entrance exam on his behalf, does not have one tenth of the intellect of the former prosecutor and Attorney-General of California.
