U.S. Electoral College set to seal Biden’s win to end all Trump’s challenges
Africa & World Politics, American Politics Monday, December 14th, 2020(NNP) The Electoral College in the U.S. is expected to meet on Monday to rectify Joe Biden’s win, a move that would extinguish all hopes of Donald Trump overturning the election of Biden on Nov. 3. Electors in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, will convene, most likely virtually, given the raging pandemic and cast their votes for the candidate who was certified as the winner of the presidential election in their state. As of 10 a.m. eastern time, four states, Tennessee, Indiana, New Hampshire and Vermont have voted for the candidate who won their state. California which has the largest electoral votes of 55, would be voting at 5 p.m. The vote in California could be the deciding vote that would seal Biden’s victory and end Trump’s baseless challenges of massive vote fraud.
