Unseating Buhari, APC won’t be easy –Ayodele, popular Lagos prophet

Except the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, seeks divine guidance and heed divine warnings as regards its choice of candidate for the 2019 Presidential election, the party’s hope of wresting power from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, may end in fiasco.
A leading Nigerian seer, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, founder and spiritual leader of the Inri Evangelical and Spiritual Church, Lagos, disclosed this in his latest predictions for the Year 2018.
Primate Ayodele, who noted that the leading opposition party in the country is currently in the wrong hand said the party would need to seek divine direction if it was to succeed in its quest to unseat the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC government at the next election.
Commenting on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who is being speculated as one of the leading aspirants for the PDP presidential ticket, Ayodele said Atiku would need to consult God for divine leading before deciding to run in 2019.
Specifically speaking, the cleric identified former governor of Kaduna, Ahmed Markafi, ex-governor of Kano, Ibrahim Shekarau, ex-governor of Jigawa Sule Lamido and a former governor of Adamawa State, James Ngilari as formidable candidates to upset the APC at the 2019 Presidential election but pointed out that the likes of Ngilari would never be given the chance to fly the party’s flag.
The cleric also identified the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, former governor of Lagos and Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, a former governor of Rivers State and Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi and Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State as potential leaders of Nigeria.
He further predicted that attempts to reposition PDP ahead of the 2019 elections might fail as the party was likely to become more factionalized after its next presidential primaries even as he revealed that some PDP governors would work surreptitiously for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid even as he predicted division among APC governors.
Primate Ayodele also predicted that the president ahead of his re-election bid would embark on moves to assuage those who felt disgruntled against him and, would go into new alliances but might encounter some difficulties, as some of his aides would create problems for him.
“Some states will encounter troubles and the ruling parties in the states may lose at the next elections if they fail to present the right candidates for the elections. APC will lose in Imo State if they don’t present the right candidate. PDP may also lose in Ekiti if the right person is not fielded. Only the right candidates will help APC to reclaim Osun and Oyo states. The same goes for Abita, Delta and Rivers States,” Ayodele said.
“Also some governors seeking re-election will be disappointed. Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Rotimi Akeredolu in Ondo and Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State may not get re-elected for the second term,” he said
The cleric also revealed that further attempts would still be made to remove the national chairman of the ruling party and added that the plot would throw the party into turmoil.
He revealed that 12 to 13 governor would run into trouble as they would be accused of wrongdoings in their handling of Paris Club refunds.
On the economy, Primate Ayodele predicted that attempts by the current administration to reposition the nation’s economy would not yield much results, saying that recovered loots and money from Excess Crude Account would also not help in putting the economy in shape. He cautioned that attempts by the government to resort to borrowing would also be counter productive.
“The government will get it wrong as far as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is concerned and this will affect the economy. Some directors of the corporation will be indicted and Kachikwu will have problem. NNPC will also lay off some of his workers.
The 2018 budget will not help the economy either as it will turn out to be the voice of Esau but the hand of Jacob. The budget will be delayed and it won’t help to turn the economy around.
