UPDATE: Jonathan calls off budget presentation to N’Assembly

Indications are that President Goodluck Jonathan may no longer present the 2014 budget to the National Assembly today by himself.
Sources said “security reasons” accounted for Jonathan’s alleged change of mind.
He was scheduled to present the budget by 12 noon today.
The stage is already set to receive him before the latest development.
Nobody is coming to lay any document anymore and no official reasons given yet.
The President’s seat, seat of the Senate President (David Mark) have both been taken away from the House of Representatives chambers, venue of the joint session.
“The red carpet laid in anticipation of Jonathan’s coming has also been rolled up.
