US-Based Nigerian CTO Kekuut Hoomkwap creates new app that helps women manage their health.
Kekuut Hoomkwap is the Chief Technology Officer at FEMM (Fertility Education and Medical Management), a US-based non-profit organization that caters to women’s health. Her mission is to create technology products to empower and help women manage their health. The first product of the technology portfolio is the FEMM iOS app.
The app was designed to provide a comprehensive solution for women’s health by:
- helping women achieve health and reproductive goals: (tracking your health, achieving and avoiding pregnancy)
- teaching women about their bodies and the interplay of hormones
- empowering women to take charge of their health
- giving immediate feedback to help women achieve their health goals
- flagging any health issues
- and linking them up with healthcare providers that can help.
The app is FREE and currently available in the iOS App store. The android version is in the works and will be made available soon! Given the importance of this app and the fact that it gives women the ability to take control of their health, women from all walks of life are encouraged to utilize the app by downloading it, tweeting about it, sharing it on social media with friends and family.
