Arts/Culture & Entertainment, Headlines Monday, September 8th, 2014Award-winning Nigerian pop duo, Peter and Paul Okoye, have come out to shed light on why their spouses don’t stay with them in their house despite being married for months. The Okoye brothers have been reported to be having issues in the last few months but the duo have confirmed that their differences would not break them as against what some of their fans emphisaged.
Their fans queried their decision not to allow their wives live with them in their house fuelling insinuation that all may not be well within the Okoye’s family. In a swift reaction to the development, the Okoye brothers have come out to say during a TV interview monitored by R that they still live together as brothers even though their wives don’t live with them. “We still live together while our spouses stay in different places in Lagos”.
The singers also disclosed that by December 2014, they would be moving into their various houses to stay with their wives.
“The wait is almost over. We will be moving into our various houses to stay with our wives and live as man and wife. There is nothing to say further on that. We want our fans to watch out for our new album, which would be released on the 12th of September.”
They, however, promised to make refunds to fans if they don’t like the album.
