Yakowa for burial on Thursday
Headlines, Kaduna, State News Sunday, December 16th, 2012Kaduna State Governor Mukhtar Yero yesterday declared a one week mourning.
The late Governor Patrick Yakowa’s remains will be buried on Thursday, he said.
In a state broadcast last night, he announced today as public holiday – to enable the people receive the body of the late Yakowa and his friend, Dauda Tshoho, who also died in the crash.
All national flags are to be flown at half mast. Condolence registers have been opened at the Government House and the Hassan Katsina House.
Local government chairmen are to open condolence registers in their headquarters.
Yero urged the people to accept the sad situation. “We cannot change with total submission to the will of God.”
