Taiwo passes Milan medical, signs deal

Olympique Marseille left-back Taye Taiwo has agreed a three-year deal with AC Milan after passing a medical with the Italian champions, according to France Football.
The Nigerian international agreed to join the Serie A winners a number of weeks ago and has now accepted personal terms with the club ahead of his summer move to Italy on a free transfer.
Taiwo is currently serving a one-match suspension after singing an expletive-laced chant about Paris Saint_Germain after Marseille’s Coupe de la Ligue win over Montpellier last month.
The ban means the 26-year-old will not be given the opportunity to bid farewell to Marseille’s home supporters during Sunday’s fixture against Valenciennes.
Marseille currently sit three points behind leaders Lille in Ligue 1 although Rudi Garcia’s men also have a game in hand over last season’s champions.
Taiwo has spent six years with the French outfit and will officially become a Milan player on July 1
