An Open Letter to Ebola – By Dr. Gigi Don-Pedro

Dear Ebola,

I trust this letter finds you well in spite of the troubling fact that same cannot be said of those you have visited in Nigeria and in the West African sub-continent. It appears to me that you are a Nigerian of Yoruba origin; I say this because your name, “BOLA“, is truly Nigerian.  I am convinced that you have added the “E” to confuse all and sundry in regards to your origin in other to exact maximum damage on your victims without a trace to your origin. In spite of this clever camouflage, you haven’t fooled me or any other Nigerian for that matter as we recognize our own even in the best of disguise.

As a fellow Nigerian, I appeal to you to leave those innocent and poor citizens of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea alone. These are very poor countries with little or no capacity to handle your fury. You appear to have forgotten so quickly that Liberia and Sierra Leone are still recovering from the ruins of a prolonged civil war that took thousands of lives and maimed thousands more.

In place of these victims, I would like to suggest that you attack those Boko Haram infidels that have terrorised Nigerians and even Cameroonians for the last several years. These pagans do not fear God and they have no compassion for their victims, they shoot, behead, burn alive, rape and even butcher their victims.

You must have heard that in April of this year, they kidnapped more than 200 young girls and we are very sure that they have been raping them without let or hinder. Ebola, you cannot allow those ignoble miscreants to continue on this path. You must do something and quickly at that. For this reason, I am pleading with you to leave innocent Nigerians and Africans alone and instead attack those Boko Haram infidels. Why should they be free of Ebola while innocent Nigerians and West Africans are dying?

Give them fever so that their temperature is as hot as the sun to the point that their intestines and all internal organs will cook instantly, not medium rare, but well done. Give them diarrhea so they may fill their abode, the Sambisa forest with their excrement, always in the squatting position relieving themselves eternally. Let them bleed profusely from all orifices of their bodies, including their eyes, nose and mouths.

As they take their weapons to wreak havoc on Nigerians, infect their hands so they are weakened and useless, with every step they take towards harming Nigerians, inflict them with stomach pains and with all manner of gases that surpass the volume of the liquefied natural gas in the Niger Delta.  This should cause their stomachs to explode like the Icelandic volcano or like the bombs they have been planting against Nigerians. Focus on their uneducated and unkempt infidel leader, Abubakar Shekau, that cowardly murderer that has killed so many innocent citizens, including children and women. Send him your most powerful strain so there might be peace in Nigeria.

Ebola, tell those area boys in Borno that you are a true son of the land; teach them a very serious lesson they will never forget in a hurry. Indeed, these ragamuffins and infidels should be your focus, they should be your victims, not innocents Nigerians like Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, Liberians, etc., trying to make a living and improve their country.

Sincerely,

Dr. Gigi Don-Pedro (Dr. Don-Pedro is a visiting scholar and writes from Moscow, Russia)wp_posts
